Ok at last I found something to write about and luckily for me it’s my first story here on medium. It all started in mid of June 2021, I came to know about the neogcamp from somewhere. Before that I didn’t know anything about web development or the programming world, I had no interest in coding at all.

Out of curiosity, I ventured into Web Development, because I wanted to know what this is all about. You see a lot of people saying “ I’m a Website Designer and the rest” but I didn’t know how all these kinds of stuff happen. Then I started watching Lesson Zero on YouTube by Tanay Pratap. even I had never done programming before, But as I started learning I fell in love with programming. Then I realize oh ok ok! I have found my destination! yeeee!

lessons learned

lesson 0 have 9 assignments, let’s discuss them one by one as follow:-

mark 1 and mark 2

I learned many things like, how to create a new repl or what’s CLI? to explore readlineSync. It was all new to me as I told earlier I’ve never done programming before. one thing which I love the most in these two assignments is using chalk it makes my assignments cool and colorful, with the help of chalk I came to know about more npm apps such as:-

  1. cfonts:- This is a silly little command-line tool for sexy fonts in the console. Give your cli some love.
  2. colors-cli:- this is a Terminal string styling .which makes your text bold、 faint、 italic、 underline、 blink、 overline、 inverse、 conceal、 strike. etc…

want to try quiz:- quiz on books and quiz on India

mark 3

In this, I watch the video 2 times to understand how GitHub works, use VSCode like a pro, host your website for free online to work as a professional with all these tools. let’s talk about the next one in this I only learned how git, GitHub works and about netlify.

from here you can go to my portfolio:- https://vashnavi-chauhan-portfolio.netlify.app/

mark 4 and mark 5

Oh! yes, this is one of the most important ones in which I first time rubaroo with HTML and CSS it’s like our childhood drawing book first you have to connect the dots priority wise then you make your picture look colorful with the help of colors in HTML CSS. HTML is your picture which you make by connecting dots and CSS is the colors in which you style your picture. instead of this, I learned how to use logo using font awesome .some sources where I learned more about HTML and CSS are as follows:-

  1. w3 schools:-optimized for learning, testing, and training. Examples might be simplified to improve reading and basic understanding.
  2. geeks for geeks:- computer science portal similar to w3 schools
  3. youtube:- yes youtube! where you find many tutorials on HTML and CSS.
  4. unsplash:- use for images for your website
  5. undraw:- use for images like clipart in a particular color.
  6. tailwindcss:- includes an expertly crafted default color palette out-of-the-box that is a great starting point if you don’t have your specific branding in mind.
  7. favicon.io:-use to add the favicon to your website. it quickly generates your favicon from a text by selecting the text, fonts, and colors. Download your favicon in the most up-to-date formats.

mark 6 and mark 7

My favorite one minions yeeee! you know what I love minions! and in this, I make an app in which it translates language English to minions language ex:- English text:- hii! I am vashnavi! convert into minions:- hii! ka am vashnavi! wanna play this game go to banana talk. let’s talk about another one which is pirate speak similar to banana talk in this text translate into pirate language. I made these two apps with the help of a fun translation app.

mark 8 and mark 9

interesting one! these are the last two assignments. In this, I learned to react JS, walkthrough code sandbox, know more about JSX, handling a list of data, convert an object to an array, and many more things. I made two apps with lots of love! The first one is GOOD HABITS in which you learn good habits with the help of emojis. another one is BEAUTIFLY as I am a girl so I thought Why don’t I make an app for girls? in this, I review some products with their brand’s name.

not only this! I’m publicly committing to the #151daysofcode by neogcamp. Make Twitter your place of Play, There’s a lot on that Platform and you’ll meet people, Get Information…Even Job Opportunities.

AT LAST THANK YOU! NEOGCAMP TEAM AND TANAY SIR ! for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
